Poets are weird!

Poets are weird,
They talk about the depth,
While they are drowning at the shore.
They say poems gives their life a clarification,
While all their words in the name of art,
Do is to create an alluring confusion.
They write about moving on,
While they're stuck in the beauty of their old love,
They write about being free,
While they caged themselves in their thoughts.
Their poems are healers for heart broken,
While every moment their scars are scribbled.
Poets are weird!
Their words are music for ears,
While their life is full of chaos.
Poets are weird!
They glorify the love they choose,
While their soul is a broken muse.
Poets are weird,
They want to escape this life,
Yet their poems perfectly define the beauty of life.
They smile but,
Paint the scars with their oozing blood
And scratch their wounds.
Poets are weird
They make you believe
The connection between
A dead tree and a singing sparrow,
While they are drowning in the pool of sorrow
Poets are weird
They search the truth
In the eyes of the liars!
