In Praise of Our Health Carers

In the complexity of health care today
we need a whole crowd of Carers .
Amongst them are the generals and specialists too.
We need the whole village and not just the sole trader.
We need the butcher, the baker
and also sometimes even the candlestick maker,
that is the essence of our health-carers.

Proud are we of the NHS,
the front line workers,
not forgetting the support staff,
working behind the scenes undiscovered .
They also provide the essential services
and keep the cog-wheel running to serve us.
They are truly the NHS Heroes.
We are truly proud of our health ethos.
