Life goes on

No one expected this to happen
No one foresaw that this will come
We were all living our lives as regular people
We were going through the daily grind of life
Then in one instance everything changed.

This health crisis became a great equalizer
All of a sudden there was no difference
Whether one was poor or rich,
One was healthy or not into physical fitness,
Gender, religion, or age also became a non-issue.

We'll never know when this global health concern will end
We'll never know what is going to happen to any of us
We have seen so many people we know and close to us
Be affected or even gone due to this virus
But that should not stop any of us from going on and living.

No matter how much we are hurting right now
Losses here and there, pain in the heart, physically low
Mentally lost, spiritually in doubt, pick yourself up
Only faith, only love, only hope can get us through this
Raise your hands in prayer, lift everything to God

He is always there. He never left us. He always wanted only good things for us, His children, His creation.
We need to reflect on the lives we have lived.
Are we worthy of His love? If we failed Him, now is the time to change for the better.
To love more, give more, share more, forgive more, pray more.

While we still can, we must. While there is still time, we should. While we are still alive, we have to.
For in the end, we are to go home to where we belong.
And so everything else in the world will amount to nothing
If we did not fulfill our mission. If we did not work on the purpose in life that we were born to do and be.
