No more tears

I'm dried out,
lost for words to express how
I'm hurting inside
It's the way I can tell you I'm fine with a smile on my face but on the inside staring in your eyes to show my signs for help
I tell you I'm fine and to back off as a way of saying I need you to talk to me
But that half-ass job is good enough to keep you moving
On to the next, you say
But that's me I see and seek for people's smiles to drift away so I can go in and make their day
See its the smile that fills you up with a bit of joy before the sadness takes it
Don't be afraid to show your true self
You know no one means that
Because it is your true self that everyone should be shielded from to protect the mean spoken words
I want to cry the pain away but with no tears there's sleep at least  then reality is what you make it
So I do I sleep all the pain away
So tomorrow I can smile again.
