What GOD Do You Serve

What GOD Do You Serve? 1984 (St. Louis, MO)

What GOD Do You Serve?
By Moses Seiber

What god do you serve,
With the life that you have,
Is he the god that will be there,
Even to your breath at its last,
Is your god the one who was there,
When your heart stopped it's beat,
And no other was even there,
To bring it back a new beat,
Was he there when pain came in,
And you felt down to your last,
And thought was bout to go,
But, soon returned so fast,
Is he that God who was there,
When of no strength you could not move,
But, right when of no hope,
That push came for you through,
When you were at that so point,
Of which felt of no live,
Who was it there to ensure,
I love you enough to give,
Your will for each you step,
Into the next of days to feel,
That the true was one is there for you,
And is there as your everything for real?

About this poem

Written on Thursday July 8, 2021 because of the feeling I got while listening to Jekalyn Carr Jehovah Jireh. I got the thought about how there are so many different religions in the world and the feeling came up in my heart. So I asked my DADDY and HE said Yes. So I wrote what I felt.
