The Titanic

1912
came to be
A ship out on
the open sea
Like a nightmare's
hellish dream
An iceberg ripped
Titanic's seam
Inch by inch
the water rose
From where it came
no one knows
Lifeboats launched
few were saved
Some went to
a water grave
It was said
the band played on
Right up till
the ship was gone
