Hear Me Cry

Tonie Pate 1975 (California)

Days go by when I don't think about you what you did to me. I still ask myself if you were worth dying for cause all it ever got was nothing. Why did I take your word I trusted you. Why did you lie to me I believed you. Now I have no life, no wife, no kids and nobody to love me cause I'm  dead. Because I drunk myself to death for you. You didn't love or even care about me. Why did I do that to myself. Do you hear me cry over and over again just because I still love you and want you.

About this poem
