Spring

I smell it, the moisture in the air,
the country children choosing what to wear.
the swaying of the leaves
and the moving of the bees.
I see, what nature is telling me.

The flowers now look so cheery
The winter had made them dreary.
the melting of the snow,
the river streams starting to flow.
I see, what nature is telling me.

The birds are slowly moving out of their nest
mind you, fully dressed.
The dark clouds no longer annoy
the poor little cowboy.
I see, what nature is telling me

This is that time of the year
everybody, springtime is here!
