Love Resembles. . . . .

Love resembles a wintry window drawn by Jack Frost,

Soft wispy touches sewn with silvery floss.

Love exists a gentle hush not a noisy clang.

Once hidden pathways now crisscrossed,

Dancing heartstrings that tenderly emboss.

Love charts a quiet course, not a brash bang!

Moonlight reflected on sea, glimmering gloss,

Tidal waves welcoming a lonely albatross.

Love happens one on one not just in a gang.

A sailor enchanted by the Southern Cross,

Courage to begin again after deadly loss.

Love adds beauty and truly gives a hang!

Placid waters once turbulent, torn, tossed,

A stony creek bed covered with green moss.

Love offers a natural union of yin and yang.

A soothing cool stream as one wades across,

Return to God’s fold after being hopelessly lost.

Saints bells ring.  Songs sing.  Gifts bring.

Out of essential love worthy dreams spring!

Love exists a gentle hush not a noisy clang,

charts a quiet course, not a brash bang,

happens one on one not just in a gang,

adds beauty and truly gives a hang,

offers a natural union of yin and yang.

Out of essential love worthy dreams sprang!
