The Heart Keeps Beating Till It’s Time To Go

Life is like a rose with thorns on show
It pricks some more, than others we know
Pick yourself up, do not feel low
Cos we have plenty out there with mud to throw

The One thing we all need to learn
Is that the heart keeps beating till it’s time to go

Memories are banks with deposits so large
It stores everything from the first laugh to the last
Nothing is permanent be it joys or tears
For death is the only reality that needs to be feared

So one shall remember wherever they are
That the heart keeps beating till it’s time to go

Love is funny for the nature it has
It confuses humans with all the feelings they have
God sent us love in so many forms
But we search for ‘The One’ as per the set norms

When will we realize such a simple fact
That the heart keeps beating till it’s time to go
