Spoon

Old sturdy iron spoon
Who in the night reflects the moon
Always beats me why you shine
While all along I lick you! Don’t you get worn?
All the hard foods in the morn
Wallowing through the meat with bone
Obtaining the stuck gravy I use my teeth like horn
Wiping and grinding your surface clean
Occasionally making some cleaves on
Why do you still glow like the noon sun?
Oddly even reflecting my face-front on
Well, still I think age has made you worn
Or why else would you reflect my face upside down?
