Analysis of Closer still

Somewhere close I sense a peace
A river flowing
Should sound ever cease.
Seemly closer now I sense a time
An ominous thought
Is it yours or is it mine?

Beneath a blanket, to shroud a head
A beating heart has nothing said
A sliver of moon ascends the deep
A whispering wind, for a soul to keep
Tonight

Somewhere close I sense a peace
A river flowing
Should sound ever cease.
Seemly closer now I sense the time
The ominous thought
It must be mine.
