Analysis of Electric Waterfalls
Matthew Pollock 1978 (Geelong)
My electric waterfalls, need in thirst
The ocean desert; a sand filled burst
Tripping on air, of fake mirages lying
Swimming motionless, I think of dying
A sensible backdrops, feeling of lost
Gold only on paper; values zero cost
A hollow victory; hope can’t provide
I think of living, within current pride
Singing in silence; echo in my head
Emotions in feeling, heart being fed
Drying raindrops, tears from above
Confusion journey, thinking of love
Red death shadows, fog in a storm
Paint without edges, a being reborn
Color now fading; black and white
I think of heaven; waterfalls at night
