Analysis of I Hope You Truly Understand

Time that’s passed we can never save.
It’s life value I never gave.
The very day we said goodbye,
It became priceless, glorified.

I never realized just how much,
I’d miss the softness of your touch.
Your scent, your taste, still linger sweet,
In thought until again we meet.

I hope you truly understand,
You hold my heart within your hand.
Soon just a house, becomes a home.
Filled with love of our very own.
