Analysis of Our incomplete love story
Thaamarai Selvi SP 2001 (Madurai)
Thoughts of you inside me
like those droplets of water,
slowly comes near my face
for years and years
I wait with hope
to make those drops
fall on me,
but fear my heart
tremble my body
states, 'you aren't
destined for me'
'If so, why does bee
feed on flowers?
why does the night
needs moon?
As they are,
so are we.'
Said I with hope.
And I behold the drop.
Black will be the color
of my wrecked soul
if you aren't a part of me.
Like unseasonal rain,
I place myself in absurdity
where once the path was crystal clear.
But yet the vibe
you still give me
assuring you're
destined for me
even in those unspoken words,
in those unheard love,
and in those unseen sights of you and me
is the wildest magic ever.
