Analysis of Upon Seeing Mars
August 30, 2003
The heavens are never more
Vivid as when shining
on a dark place and leave
nothing to speak of majesty
Yet in their magnificence
They are in simplicity
Only what they are
Other worlds other stars
Still we are left to wonder
What wizardry they may hold
Or beings who upon seeing
Reflect and feel cold
