Analysis of Upon A Strange Night
T' was late at night,
But asleep, I was not.
Then I heard a noise
That no one would have sought.
It screeched and howled at the full moon,
I knew exactly what it was, and not to be rude,
But man,
I was screwed.
"LET. ME. IN!" yelled a terrifying voice
To which no one would have listened to.
But alas, I was young,
And did as I was told to do.
A heap the size of a horse-drawn carriage
Strolled into my living room.
I thought I was but t' was not
Facing my doom.
"Tell me your name and reveal your face,"
I commanded the foul creature.
"I shall not,"
It replied, no more louder than a preacher.
" I will teach you the ways of Yore,
If you listen to me,"
And for some reason, I nodded my head
As if it was meant to be.
