Analysis of Traumatic

Departures  are traumatic tears from the heart,
Sadness and grief when about to part,
A Genuine feeling of great personal loss,
Where's the togetherness the sparkle and gloss?

It's the thought that tomorrow's not the same,
Memories can't replace that person by name,
He who laughs now won't be there,
Yes treasured moments not available to share.

Eyes they water emotions run high,
There's no suppressing it you start to cry,
An expression of love spontaneous it be,
Yes a bond so delightful to see.

About this poem;-
"When Komico our homestay had to leave
to return to Japan. Tears were on both sides
which shows the love that was shared and

good times had."

stan brierly

I have been writing poems for forty years and written about all sorts of things. Somehow I get creating streaks and can write up to 4 or 5 poems at once of varying subjects. I find it is a good way to record events of the day and bring history to life. The mental aspect is a balance against keeping fit, work and life in general. more…
