Analysis of To and be

I had to go through that time
wondering if my heart was going to die
swimming through my tears
all alone I waded those years

but somehow I made it
and my heart learned to mend
haphazardly with a crack and a bend
all alone I waded those years

but magic happened,
a friend came along
that took away the sad song
that gave me a smile
and a laugh
and some company at last
maybe i did not have to wade through it all alone
a friend that helped me sing a different song
no longer did i regret what was gone

however i started to love that friend
and my heart even with the mend
was warped and darkened from past demise
started to push the friend away
with alot of awful things i would say
trying to keep my feelings at bay
has made me sad and alittle bit mad
but i hope they see
it's not who i am supposed to be
i hope they know how much i love them so
i pray they realize how much they mean to me
because my friend you see
is my best friend indeed
please forgive me...

Candice Arney

I am imaginative, creative, and a deep thinker. I am constantly reading and learning, I delve in the mysteries of life, I am unique and different, and I never meet a stranger, people are drawn to me, and always seem to be comfortable enough around me to open up about their life and stories, I always have an open ear. Life is a journey and sometimes that journey is very hard, it's sometimes hard to to meet people, who are not aware, awake, and who are blind to the reality of the truth. If I could save one person from making the mistakes I have made by enlightening them of the possibilities in life, then I can feel my purpose is being fulfilled. I strive, often with much difficultly to build my faith, faith in my self and faith in my ever awaiting future, that is being created by my thoughts and intentions. If I could but open your eyes, I would share with you the secret, that all things are possible to those who believe, and that conditions are just that, the condition, the effect from the condition are the thoughts, emotions and intentions created from that condition. This too shall pass, are words I hang on to, because believing in the unseen is a lot harder than believing in what's right in front of you! I'm hopefully ever evolving into a better person, my goal is to perfect my soul, and to understand and love unconditinally. I believe you should dream your life then act upon the opportunity. If you need a friend, I am here for you. more…
