Analysis of There they will come knocking

As they call out,
wild calls in the darkness.
Screams from the void,
now are all I can hear.

They call and they wimper,
but to them I do beg.
"Spare me your horrors,
for me one last day."

So the breeze in the wind,
may come now once more,
and all of the darkness,
must wait at my door.

Though I cannot condone,
for what sins that I've done.
I made the darkness a promise,
that I never would run.

I wrote them all down,
in a little black book.
I left nothing to hide,
so come take a look.

I admit I'm a failure,
and I'll admit that I've lied.
 I'll admit that I'm broken,
which is why I now cry.

I've done nothing but break,
when I fealt I was strong.
Most think life's easy,
but there wrong.

As the house again fades,
into the void; dissapears.
All of the pieces,
never were spared.

So now my times up,
and I open the door.
Though to my surprise,
comes the darkness no more.

(well, this was originally going to be a real tragedy, but I changed in my mind while writting as it felt just to dark.)
