Analysis of The Rain
Some love the sun and blistering heat,
Some find themselves just loving rain.
I like that sense of moisture under feet,
My muse, my inspiration is the rain.
That nature's gift falls down drop by drop
As though God cries somewhere in the Heaven.
I see that everything got drowned without screaming “stop”
Counting minutes: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
That scene is charming me, I'm numb
By stunning water pouring from the skies.
The rain's intensifying, it seems like thunder is about to come
And gimlet gaze took place into my eyes.
I get insane and look out the window,
The rain attracts me in its solid hugs.
I wish to find myself in blooming meadow
As power of water just flings me outside and lugs.
It lugs me into wonderland
With haze and fog – narcotic atmosphere,
But actually I wanted to be sent
In enigmatic place like that without any fear.
The rain is strange and mystic thing,
I think it shrines some weird darkness
Like tiny bird somehow flying with one wing
That doesn't show any signs of tiredness.
It gives me flow of fresh air
Which I can gulp to catch my breath.
I'm going to run, who cares where,
With aim to feel my own strength.
To run and rush along some streets,
Feel flush of energy in each part of the body.
That rain reminds the person someone meets
After eternal separation; my mind is gradually getting cloudy.
You know I can see the sheeting rain,
Enjoy the moment, dance with you beneath cascading waterfall
And at that time somebody might inhale smell of vervain
Keeping in memory – descent of darkness can inconspicuously crawl.
We're dancing in the dark, just me and you
Through misty shroud towards a breaking dawn.
Let's set a fire to the rain and then pursue
Appeared light for our mission to be done.
Swift water's running down on us
Enveloping our skin in fluid capsule.
A sense like we are in cocoon defending us
And giving pleasure; for certain I don't want this to be canceled.
That rain refreshes our nature
Washing away impure blood
And chases that macabre mixture
Under the ground where it'll be forever rot.
The downpour brings bolt of lightning
That's penetrating our flesh as though
Thousands of metal needles are simply writing
Poetry on our bodies; that are like buttons somebody's making try to sew.
We're walking over the puddles
Without a fright of getting sick
And revel into midnight shower
Because of which some flying essences turn weak.
As we are wandering, the sun's about to rise –
A murderer that will be out to immure unbridled rain in dirty grave.
Have hope the rain will tempt the day star with seductive lies
To make the sun once and for all its humble slave.
Enormous battle – epic end;
It's darkest night, looks like new moon.
Soft rain caresses dehydrated land
As we keep making our way through the monsoon.
