Analysis of The Music is Singing Alone
This is no way to live.
My heart is bleeding like a sieve.
It hurts to breathe, but breathe I must.
Maybe one day I will adjust.
Until that day, pretend it's night.
Only I won't be sleeping tight.
It hurts to cry, but cry I will.
Until this empty heart is filled.
My heart will fill, only to spill.
Sunny days, sweeping my tears away.
Rainy days, bringing them back.
It hurts to love, but I love you.
Although I don't want to, that's a fact.
But love I do, I cannot stop
My heart from bleeding around the clock.
It hurts to live, but I live on.
Until this melancholy song is gone.
We're nearing the end, and so am I.
By the piano, bleeding I lye.
It hurts to lye, but I lye still.
Destroying me from the inside it kills.
Death is breathing down my neck.
Yes I bleed on, a nervous wreck.
It hurts to feel, but still I feel.
This hellish feeling is all too real.
Blood and tears and suffering too.
Hello death, you are in view.
It hurts to die, but my life is done.
I end it all with a loaded gun.
I'm sorry mom, I'm sorry dad..
Remember all the fun we had?
It hurts to leave, but I mist go.
You meant so much to me you know.
Tell the family I send my love.
I begin to float up above.
It feels good, being heaven-bound.
My postmortem body makes no sound.
Gently, serenely, now I lay.
On this cold December day.
It hurt so much, to be in that pain.
But I know I won't have to feel it again.
What did I say? The song would end.
Along with it would go my life.
No more suffering, no more crying;
No more misery, no more strife.
Good-bye life, good-bye world.
Good-bye blonde haired Russian girls.
Good-bye darkness, good-bye light.
Good-bye day and good-bye night.
Good-bye mother, good-bye father.
Good-bye to all my petty bothers.
Good-bye dogs and good-bye cats,
Good-bye men with funny hats.
Good-bye music, good-bye song.
Thank you so much for singing along.
