Analysis of The girl next door

In loneliness, have i spent
Days that seemed like ages.
In search of her, for whom was meant
These words of love. And phrases.

A blooming wonder in the desert,
Fanned by the winds of time.
As chance had it, she is on earth.
And oh! the very door next to mine!

I've heard but a few words of her
But enough to ring my ears with melody.
I've seen her but once or twice,
Were i blinded, I'll yet recall her beauty.

A golden lass of eight and ten
In form and thought, a fairy.
A sight to behold. And very often
It makes me go all awry.

It is such that i love her
And hope to win her's back.
Though I'm glad but not too sure
Of removing my painful heartache.
