Analysis of The Fountain Of Youth

I am the true non-traditional student
32 years-young without a wife and kids
a single mentality hard to fathom
I bear grey hairs from wisdom or worry
hair that glows in the blacklights
at the nightclub of your average student
is it any wonder I went 0 for 3 that night?
my old friends are married with children
which leaves me the odd man out
I even feel odd at times
in this precarious situation that persists
walking around campus as the abscured
not quite comparable to my fellow classmates
I notice some of them laughing to themselves
is it their "god complex" or mine?
I have to remind myself
the world is not against me
it is me against the world
a world relishing in blue and gold
the colors of the curse
