Analysis of The door to my heart

My heart was an open door for all to enter
Now it only opens for those who are kind enough to open it
Is it fear that keeps it shut or pain that has it stuck?
Perhaps, a combination of the two.
But for those who can open this door,
they will find beauty never seen, and love never known.
