Analysis of The Dark Side
A darkness hangs heavy on me
Like withered leaves upon a tree.
It's shadow crawling through my soul
Dividing me so I'm not whole.
Accentuating my lifetime
A heart that is no longer mine.
Driving away all hopes for peace,
A torment that will never cease.
Deep hatred of this pointless life
Due to what has brought this strife.
Moving as a dark companion
Waiting for it to abandon,
Pushing down what must just be
A part of me no one should see.
