Analysis of Syria
The faces of the few dictate the masses.
Alawhites' suppressing Sunnis' and Shi'ites'.
Carving a scar into the war torn landscape.
The wavin' flag.
Symbolising this country's civil conflict
Costing the lives of many
Innocent soul,
Women, children.
Millions search for their most basic of human rights.
Which are broken up
Abandoned in the Syrian countryside.
Nations throw diplomatic punches
Trying to resolve the situation
Boots.
Boots on the ground?
No boots at all?
Heavyweights shoving their status around
As they find holes in the fabric of international society.
The disbelieving faces of the TV watchers
As they see tortures unfold in HD.
The old
The sick
All slowly dyin'
Creating mass graves of festering flesh.
No dignity
No respect
The fowl stench carries memories.
It follows the wicked
A message from the dead.
