Analysis of Sunsets are Special
It's late afternoon the air is sweet,
Out in the country on the verandah seat,
Searching the sunset a time for dreams,
What of life is it what it seems?
There's a loneliness only years can bring,
Gone a loved one he no longer can sing,
But happy memories illuminate the sky
How many times are there tears in eye.
Vivid the recall of specific times shared,
Jokes and laughter and love declared,
Struggles and achievements the pace of life,
And the privilege of being your wife.
We stood firm through thick and thin ,
Sometimes we'd loose at others we'd win,
Your presence is felt in moments like this,
When the sun sinks I sense your kiss.
