Analysis of Sonnet Variant Preferences

Sonnet Variant Preferences

In time we shall see what the world has in store
We are of all people most misunderstood
Those that ever know us then learn of our lore
Thus seeing that we are among the world's good.
But without the circle there are those that mince
Who fear the great honesty given with love
That came from our mouths and has not been heard since
We found that we did not fit like a worn glove.

Oh to be so normal like those that can play
The games that society gives as it's norm
I then would much rather not enter the fray
And then I thus choose not to endure that storm.
For those folks without are quite hard and will fear
The oddball that does not conform to their will
And if he has talent his skill they will sear
And then are for us a most sad bitter pill.

So onward I go I care not for the plain
Who have only one given plan to perform
To us it is something I call quite insane
To always adhere to what I don't call norm.
