Analysis of Sometimes...
Sometimes,
Nothing makes me feel more alive...
Than, the stillness of the night
The conflicts within my being
Or, the struggles in my mind
Sometimes,
Nothing makes me feel more alive...
Than, the silence that begins to settle
Amid, the absence of the light
Where irrelevant, the whole world is...
Simply out of sight
Sometimes, I long to hold...
The midnight hours that I own
And, which I need
To savor mere moments
Where my thoughts, surface...
From within the deepest, darkest keep
But, sometimes,
Nothing makes me feel more alive...
Than, when the washing slumbers begin
Unfolding, to its rival
My life, within the nexus of day's survival
And, the blackout finally ends
