Analysis of Someday
A friend visited me in hospital, said
'You beat it again'and
I thought 'yes not today
but someday. and this poem was born.
Your day will end ,someday.
The things once so important,
Will not matter anymore.
All your treasured objects
will pass to someone else.
How will you be remembered,
By those you love.
The choice in life matters ,
Your courage when life sends
you burdens.
Will it matter if your rich
or poor?
It will only matter if you
were a good person, keep
your word if given.
Your someday will arrive,
We know not when,
Will you be ready to travel
beyond lifes mortal realm.
The thing that will last,
Is how the memory of you is,
or how many will remember you.
