Analysis of Silver Moon
The silver moon fills up the harvest sky.
Stars like pearls, falling from a broken twine.
Rolling clouds heave like a sigh,
above the moon, just like a cosmic eye.
A forest breeze agitates the rustling leaves,
the nocturnal dance of the swaying trees.
A dark retreat from worldly cares,
a primordial cove under timeless stares
The jealous day longs for your stolen light,
though with its power, it submits to the night.
Your rare beauty truly excels
and fills the sky where you have always dwelled.
The weeping sun glows with an amber flame
Long shadows reach out to hold the day
Receding warmth sends the world to sleep
The dark velvet cloak enfolds us in its peace.
