Analysis of Saint Valentine's Day

Long have I sought for words e'er wrought,
to raise my own heart themes; that I might say
in some quaint way "I love you" toward extremes.
Yet, words won't send the ceaseless trend,
of thoughts that can't be told. But actions will
the story tell of all love's manifold.

My preciousness, my happiness,
you're everything to me. All heart's desire
is in your hire; you hold my life's lone key.
Within you keen I see serene
my fondled, cherished prize. Your winsome will
enchanting still, I fancy, idolize.

Found in my eyes please read the sighs,
silenced, bound in my chest; how you imbue
my need for you: when with you I'm at rest.
Oh, were you near I'd hold you dear,
pressed to my yearning heart. And there you'd know
in fullest glow the depths it does impart.
