Analysis of Sad Love Story

Somewhere in the wisps of memory
A self-imposed avoidance waits.
My heart vibrates and asks,
Do I want to remember you?
Within all the curling emotions
I have guarded my high-wired heart
Against the storm of remembrance.
I am so afraid my lonely heart will collide
With the sliver of love that still resides,
In the confinement of my mind
And I will indifferently slip
Back into the vibrating madness,
That was our sad love story.
