Analysis of Peace
The shroud over my day
spills into the night.
Stumps of television images,
blood,light,torn,
dripping muscles,burning flags,
churches,steaming flesh, sweat,
striking smells,swearing,
sum up as fresh.
Remnants of my sleep vanish.
Will doves ever sing again?
When will quiet blue rivers flow
to the east? Swinging trees, birds,
geese sing in harmony?
I want to dream again,
can i ever dream a comforting dream?
Will peace come to the east?
