Analysis of Miles

As slick as black ice, his fingers tap
boredom on the valves
gentlly blowing your mind with a single
breath,
slaying you with a horse whisper.

The nights are cool and the women fawn
over the charcoal wizard, Bua's archetype,
St. Louis' son and Aphrodite's lover,
he breathes life into your deflated
spirituality.

Proud, remarkable, he lived the sins of
indulgence
and allowed his passion to foster
addiction.

Perhaps his sound is the longing of a plea
for a better world and a satisfied
appetite.

Miles begins the journey exhaled from within
that will poke you soulfully on the inside
of your turtle shell.
