Analysis of Love Overcomes Thorns

Life intertwined with love often has its thorns that rip at those closest to us

Even though the love we feel is strong and our roots grow deep, sometimes we bend our trust

Winds blow so hard it pushes us from side to side and storms rush in and tear at our peddles pulling some away

But with time the warmth of the sunshine and soft morning dew we become beautiful and strong again, it’s a new day

We should stand strong together, helping to sift through the weeds and prune away the disappointments of life

Peddles become soft again, thorns are few and our stem stands tall and strong despite off of life’s strife

Our love can make us the most beautiful rose garden this world has ever seen before

We can be strong for each other through our love, and a family better than we had ever hoped for and much more

Maylinda Jane McRae

I haved live in Georgia all my life. I have four beautiful children and five grandchildren,an amazing man in my life named Scott. God has also blessed me with many loving family members and friends. God has blessed me in so many ways and I want to share with others how amazing he is and the grace that he wants to bestow on others. I have been writing since I was a little girl, it has always helped me to express myself whether it was during a storm or a victory in my life. My prayer is that my poems will help someone who may be going through a storm or celebrate a vicotry in life. more…
