Analysis of Love at Sea...

a wave on the ocean,
love at sea,
far from land,
seeking to understand...
where does it reside,
where is its comfort,
how far in the distance,
why do so many resist...?
from the depths of a ocean,
sand for the hour glass,
falling through time,
writing this heartfelt rhyme...
searching for a feeling,
the heart's healing,
drifting upon the horizon,
alone under the sun...
the shore; welcoming my wave,
from afar it traveled, then returning,
ever within itself yearning,
to its selfishness a slave...
A lighthouse seen,
distantly holding serene,
guiding a way,
from land to stay...
From this wetland I write,
watching the world's fight,
no reason to join in,
Ive got my own sin...
Its been shared,
no one cared,
never again,
very few a friend...
its the nature of life,
each battling their strife,
I pray for you,
you for me too...
Every wave; on the sea,
filling a hole, to sooth a soul...
from beyond the wilderness,
through spiritual eyes,
living one realm after another...
sharing reflections of unspoken words,
when poetry meets the heart,
it sings with the free birds...
see you above the waters...
