Analysis of Love
My, oh my, -Love- what has it done for me?
It's taken my heart and held it pris'ner.
It's torn to pieces and is incomplete.
It's sweet, but I've learned it's also sour.
My, oh my, -Love- what has it done for me?
It's torn me apart, ripped me at my seams.
It's made me fall, and it has made me weep.
Only on deaf ears fall my silent screams.
My, oh my, -Love- what has it done for me?
Oh my heart, -Love- has left me in the dark.
It pulls me 'round and causes misery.
It rips my heart and leaves me a small shard.
Beauty's in the eye of the beholder.
But soon the fire will leave a smolder.
