Analysis of Light Dips Into Night

The light dips into night
And I’m waiting
It’s arms turn as a bird in flight
And I’m still waiting
I’ll wait ‘til morning never comes
I’ll wait and wait as the drummers drum
I’ll wait until my heart grows numb
Oh hold me close
I’m fading
