Analysis of Life Is Just Too Short
There we were, standing around his bed.
Waiting, waiting. Hoping he wouldn't
leave us too soon. We were all silent.
Listening to him struggling between
life and death. I could feel the pain
and sadness in the room. I looked
around, scared to death at what would
happen next. Tears were falling to the
ground. The nurse said, "Look for the
white light and walk toward it."
I looked up for the last time and saw
him for the last time, lying on his
death bed and sooner than I knew it he
was gone. But, he left us with the
best times and memories of laughter and life.
