Analysis of Irrational Patience
These irrationalities
Distorting all that I can see
Life seems so unfair
I feel that I should not care
Yet am unable to stop myself
From dwelling on the past
A chance I missed so long ago
And the future seems so very bleak
I can barely even speak
Of what I feel will never happen
I need to sharpen my resolve
Steel my mind against this pain
Because what I seek to gain
Requires patience of great strength
So I will bide my time and wait
For the reward of my patience may be great
