Analysis of In the field of death
Never before in the field of death
have silence or darkness been so heavy.
The curse of dying soldiers
coldly echoes between the walls of death.
Only th angel-that ancient guard-
withstood the winds of war.
I frantically held on to the black flag
and so the two of us,
hugging each otherm stumble towards the abyss,
where instincts still brutally
and unrestrainedly break out
from the remains of a carnally disorganized world.
While the souls of the dead roam up above
-separated from all the demonic powers of life-
down there,in the field of death,
just as a peasant walks with his plow.
