Analysis of If Only

If only I didn't love you so,
If only I could let you go,
If only I didn't feel so connected to you,
If only I could let us be through.
If only you weren't all I want and need,
If only I was able to set you free.
If only I didn't have to walk away,
If only you'd give me reasons to stay.
