Analysis of I Want To Write A Happy Song
I want to write a happy song or funny parody
so all the world can sing along
in joyful melody.
I want to touch a lover's heart or ignite an affair
so all the world can learn the art
in worthy, tender care.
I want to glide on angels' wing or fly around the star
so all the world can dash a fling
in wandering afar.
I want to throw a perfect pass or hit the longest ball
so all the world can see high-class
in plaudits curtain call.
I want to heed the lips of peace or promises of hope
so all the world can shed caprice
in managing to cope.
I want to write a happy song or a catchy jingle
so all the world can sing along
in a deep felt tingle.
