Analysis of I had it and then I lost it
Like the squirting cigarette lighters
my Dad bought for me at Disney World
My pockets weren't made for those tricks
I had it and then I lost it
and I mourn the loss
and regret the fleeting moment
and try to figure out how I got it in the
first place
I had it and then I lost it
Charles Bukowski
met a genius and gave it to me
and then I kept it
and I lost it
I had it and then I lost it
but by doing so, regained it
and found it as a subject
and used it
it's okay to use it
