Analysis of Hymn

In the panic of fear, I'd rather be brave.
In the intensity of anger, I always behave.
In the face of danger, I'd rather walk away.
In the vanity of a prig, I have nothing to say.
In the void of sorrow, I'd rather put on a smile.
In the haze of confusion, I relax just for a while.

In the absence of peace, I pray you reach me.
Because no one else on Earth, has the power to teach me.
Where I'm not with you, you're in a special place.
All of my broken dreams, everyday I still chase.
My deepest desires, I keep deep in my heart.
You'd do the same, but only if you're smart.
