Analysis of Homberg Heaven

Lan Tan Rappel Dan,
moke gave the lush the mitten,
Miffed him, once twice, too many times bitten.
Rode the Johnny O'Brian
all the way to homberg heaven.

That's enough of American slang,
Wang-bang-ding-dang.
Drawl just ain't mah cup of tea and scones.
and I ain't haffin ar' Caar'fee,

They reckon we tawk far'wny.
good old Aussie chatter,
beats the  rattle of the clatter and din,
no contest ; a Yankee can't win.
Translation of the slang above,
They will shoot me down like a dying dove.

Negro gave his drunkard girlfriend
the rude finger,
means he moved on, no longer to linger.
Lost her temper all of the time, not worth a dime.
So he rode the freight train to a new start in
Washington. D.C.

Okay, you don't like my translation ;  it will do me.
