Analysis of Happy Thoughts

Happy thoughts
What do they mean?
Rather to dream
Of everything so nice
But never still serene
When anything goes
Nobody knows
The trouble you've seen
Not even you
Everything surreal
Always exposed
Nobody knows
The sex that you seek
What makes one so weak
Still, everything goes
And nobody knows

It's funny how so much creativity roots itself in our misery, almost more so than our happiness. Being it so for me, my poetry has more darkness than light most of the time...sometimes I just want to strike a nerve. more…
