Analysis of Hammered Gold
I consign this seed into the night
Of your womb to take ahold
There is no promise free of strife
Even pain can take the bold
But in this holy chorus that we sing
Our loins to intertwine
There are promises we now keep
These fleshly words sublime
He wants to quell the fight within
By never striking blows
He wants to crush each seed or kin
To never bud nor grow
Grow miracle forged with awe
Find purchase in her womb
Fight with soul that micro war
That wages ever new
Conflict a promise for all that thrives
Oh, this fight so old!
But in this fight: body, soul and mind
Explode like Hammered Gold
